SpiritRenew is a place where spiritual calm and renewal is valued and encouraged. Everything we now see and touch is passing away, in anticipation of Life 2.0, which will feature the principles of God's kingdom (see Matthew 5). Jesus made it clear that he would not be setting his Kingdom up on this broken planet, and any forced attempts by religious or government entities to try and force Christianity upon secular culture and society will fail (John 18:36).
God's kingdom is all about individual choice and personal character, and allowing God to form his likeness within us. It is not about sanitizing the world of evil, or of those elements that Christians find offensive. That's a “wild goose chase” that will end in disappointment and ruin.
SpiritRenew is about learning how to bring out the God-flavors in ourselves and others, and how to be salt and light in a dark and crazy age.
