I started playing guitar and writing songs in the seventh grade and became intrigued with the writing and recording process. I love poetry, especially if it can tie the imaginary with reality. In the early years I followed the popular route of writing songs about love, heartache and loss.

While living in Carmel, California (at 17 years-of-age), I had a life-changing experience where I felt the call to take a different road. From that day forward my music took on a singer/songwriter style that focused on story-telling. I can still sing the blues, because even those who journey toward a better place experience times of despair and grief. But it's a different kind of grief—one that fades and is eventually replaced with hope and healing!
