I love it when trees get happy! High in the mountains, nothing beats the sound of the wind blowing through the pines; or the sound of a stiff breeze blowing through a stand of Aspens. The cool mountain air invigorates and inspires my soul!
Inspiration speaks:
“You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands” (Isaiah 55:12, AMP).
The above passage describes a time in the not too distant future when all of nature and humanity will be in harmony with each other and their Creator. The joy will be overwhelming, to the point that we will break out in applause with the trees as we give thanks to the One who finally lays injustice, greed, hatred, and war to rest.
Imagine a world without war, robbery, murder, fake religion, divorce, hate, or cemeteries! Imagine a world without selfishness, price gouging, homelessness and corrupt politicians! Oh, I like that last one. No more political theater. No more under the table deal-making. No more money laundering.
To our jaded, cynical minds, it sounds like utopia. We typically think, if it sounds too good to be true, it’s probably not. Yet, intuitively, we know we were made for something far better than we’re getting. We’re getting the short end of the stick because our planet has been hi-jacked by someone who hates the truth and does everything he can to keep us from hearing the “wind in the trees.”
When we listen to the wind our thoughts rise above the crushing carnage of what is being thrust upon us. The wind speaks of hope, reconciliation, and forgiveness.
Listen to the wind.
